The discount code for ALSOCME does not seem to be working. What am I doing wrong?

  5. Judi says:

I was unable to apply the discount code. Either way, thanks for offering the beginners’ sessions. I look forward to attending.

The ticketing system can be a little confusing, so here are very specific step by step registration instructions:

Go to https://2012.birmingham.wordcamp.org/register/ and scroll down. Enter your name and email, select the weekend pass. (if you have a coupon code – Enter your coupon code and click “Apply Coupon” button. The page will refresh and now a new ticket type will be at the bottom of the list. (yes, this is confusing, apologies.) Select 1 of the newly generated ticket type, and click the button to check out with Paypal.) The page will refresh; scroll down again and you will see:

Thanks for purchasing a ticket to WordCamp Birmingham!
    Your ticket link(s) are below

Ticket 1: WordCamp Birmingham Weekend Ticket

Click the link and then fill in your information. Please do this as soon as you can so we can get you a tshirt (register by the 4th to guarantee your size!). You will also get this link in an email.

When you have submitted this form you should show up at https://2012.birmingham.wordcamp.org/attendees/ at the bottom of the page.

I submitted my form, and received the message “your ticket has been saved”, but I am not showing up at the bottom of the attendees page.

Not to be difficult but there has to be an easier way to do this 🙁 I registered and I got the confirmation email with a link but it takes me to a page that does not have tickets but rather responses to peoples questions (where you explain the procedure to register). Do we print out tickets? I also do not see my name at the bottom of the list like you explained. Thanks for all your help.

  9. Well, I registered, paid with paypal. See you all there.

  10. Michelle Amaral says:

I registered for WordCamp last night and paid via PayPal but did not see a place to indicate my t-shirt size.
Also, my name is not listed on the ‘attendees’ page. Did I miss something else I needed to fill out?

  11. Sheree says:

Everything worked great for me, including coupon code, T-shirt sizing info & meal preference. Looking forward to it.

  12. Is there any way to refund a weekend ticket in exchange for a Sunday only ticket?

  13. I’m so glad this is happening! I’ve just been learning Drupal hardcore, and people keep mentioning WordPress, and I’m embarrassed at how little I know. I’m sure this will be pleasant intro to the platform and the community! I can’t wait!

  14. Thanks for organizing this. I just bought a ticket and got an e-mail from paypal, i filled out the registration page but didnt get an e-mail after that and it doesnt look like Im on the attendees page. Just wanted to make sure I was registered.
